Slavery, Memory, and Reconciliation Walking Tour of the Georgetown campus

Professor Adam Rothman, Founding Director of the Georgetown Center for the Study of Slavery and Its Legacies. This event was held as part of annual programming for D.C. Emancipation Day, commemorating the anniversary of the signing of the 1862 DC Compensated Emancipation Act, the law that abolished slavery in the District of Columbia.
