“Freedom Walk” in Alexandria, Virginia
November 2026
Gonzaga College High School will lead its fourth annual “Freedom Walk” in Alexandria, Virginia in early November 2026. Since 2023, this annual event has honored the enslaved people who passed through the City of Alexandria by silently walking their path from present-day Freedom House Museum to the Potomac waterfront.
